Saint John’s Academy Champions Set to Represent Prayagraj at State Level in CISCE Athletics and Swimming Competition

 

We are proud to announce that several students from Saint John’s Academy, Prayagraj, have distinguished themselves in recent competitions and will be representing our city at the state-level championships. Their exemplary performances span multiple disciplines in both swimming and athletics, demonstrating dedication, skill, and sportsmanship.

In swimming, Kautubh Jaiswal, a standout in the U-19 category, clinched first place in the 50-meter Backstroke, 100-meter Butterfly, and 100-meter Backstroke. Ankur Singh, also in U-19, secured a first-place finish in the 100-meter Breaststroke and a second place in the 200-meter Breaststroke. Anshika Singh completed a sweep in the U-19 freestyle events, winning first in the 100-meter, 50-meter, and 200-meter Freestyle, showcasing superior prowess in the pool.

In athletics, Md. Shamad achieved top honors in the U-14 category by winning first place in both the Shotput and Discus Throw events. Abhinav Pandey, competing in the U-14 category as well, earned first place in both the 100-meter Dash and Long Jump. These achievements highlight their outstanding capabilities and set a high standard for their peers.

Additionally, our younger participants have shown remarkable potential. Trisha Kesarwani in the U-14 category secured a first-place finish in the 100-meter Breaststroke and 200-meter Breaststroke, and a second place in the 50-meter Breaststroke. Prapti Gupta, also in U-14, won first place in both the 50-meter Backstroke and 100-meter Backstroke. Their success at such a young age holds great promise for their future in sports.

As these athletes prepare for the state championships, they carry with them the pride and support of the entire Saint John’s Academy community. We extend our best wishes to them in their forthcoming competitions and look forward to their continued success.
