Memorial Service (2023)

On August 23, 2023, the Saint John’s Academy community gathered at the academy’s auditorium to remember and pay their respects to Mr. Mitchell Ryan Innes, the Co-Founder and Manager of the Saint John’s Academy.

The event began with a warm welcome address by Mr. C.V. Innes, the Director of Saint John’s Academy. He expressed gratitude for everyone’s presence and set a tone for the gathering.

Director Mrs. D. Innes read an extract from the Holy Bible, offering spiritual solace and emphasizing the importance of faith during difficult times.

Mr. C.V. Innes then shared heartfelt memories of Mr. Mitchell Innes, highlighting his dedication to education and his significant contributions to the Saint John’s Academy. He also spoke about Mr. Innes’s commitment to social work and the positive impact he had on the community.

The Saint John’s Academy community came together in song, singing hymns that held special meaning for the occasion. These musical tributes added a sense of spirituality and unity to the service.
