Junior Sports 2015
Every school celebrates its Sports Day, the staff, students and parents longingly look forward to celebrate the Sports Day. The month of November was earmarked for this event as it has congenial atmosphere for a long span games on the field. The ambience of Saint John’s Academy made everyone awestruck as everything was meticulously planned. This auspicious occasion was graced by the chief guests for the day, the Directors of Saint John’s Academy Mr C.V. Innes and Mrs D. Innes who then after their arrival declared the meet open which was then followed by the marching of young athletes who released the balloons in the air and made the atmosphere more spectacular to watch. The programme started with the races of classes 3-5 where each participant participated to the best and tried to compete with each other. The next heart stealing show was the performance of classes 1 & 2 who with their props using heart cushions tried to steal everybody’s heart.
Next on the field were the little lady birds of Saint John’s Academy who with their colourful pink and blue umbrellas captivated everybody’s attention. The fancy races from classes pre-nursery to class 2 where the spectators were overjoyed to see cartoon characters on the field of SJA. The last fancy drill was performed by classes 3-5 which encapsulated all the elements that portrayed about our great nation India. Finally the winners of each races were appreciated and awarded with gifts and certificates. Last but not the least the chief guest of the day Mr C.V. Innes inspired and motivated each one present there by his speech. Dr Zareen Rizvi proposed a vote of thanks thanking each and every one for their relentless support and service in making this day a success.
