INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2022

The Investiture Ceremony of Saint John’s Academy for the Academic Year 2022-2023 was held on 27th July 2022 at the Mitchell Ryan Innes Memorial hall with great pomp and solemn dignity.
The Investiture Ceremony, being an Annual feature in the calendar of events of the school, was traditionally solemnized in the presence of a packed audience of Staff and Students. The Directors of SJA, Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Innes along with the Principal Dr. Z. Rizvi and others graced the occasion The programme commenced with prayers and Scripture readings seeking God’s Blessings on the newly appointed Office Bearers of the Student’s Council and were decorated and handed over sashes and badges by Mr. C. V. Innes. As per tradition, the Student Council took a solemn pledge during the Oath taking Ceremony to uphold their offices with honour and to carry out their duties and responsibilities as young leaders.
The new Office Bearers for the year 2022-2023 were Shivansh Singh (Head Boy), Janvi Bharadawaj (Head Girl) ,Abu Talib ( Boy’s Sports Captain)and Jiya Tuteja (Girl’s Sports Captain).
The Director, Mr. C. V. Innes in his motivational address, congratulated the new Office Bearers with words of encouragement. The Principal, Dr. Z. Rizvi proposed a Vote of Thanks. The Investiture Ceremony of Saint John’s Academy concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
