Investiture Ceremony held at Saint John’s Academy

The Investiture Ceremony for the Academic Session 2014-15 was held on July 12,  2014 here at Saint John’s Academy.
In an impressive ceremony which was presided over by the Director of the college Mr. C. V. Innes, the newly appointed captain and prefects were officially vested with their powers and positions.
Mainak Mukopadhayay and Vibhuti Srivastava received the badges of Head Boy and Head Girl respectively, while Deepak Kumar Yadav got the badge of Sports Captain. There after the Captains and Vice Captains of all the four houses received their respective badges.
The Director in his speech emphasised the importance of honesty, integrity and loyalty as vital qualities for position of dignity, and also the necessity of commitment to choose the harder right path instead of the easier wrong.
There after the Head Boy on behalf of the entire cabinet promised to be impartial and strive to come up to the high expectations of all, if not surpass them.
The vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice-Principal Dr. Z. Rizvi.
