General Quiz (Junior) Report 2024
The General Quiz for the primary section, held for the academic year 2024-25, was an exciting and engaging event. Six teams, each representing a class from 3 to 5, participated, with three members per team, making a total of 18 enthusiastic students competing for the title.
The quiz comprised four rounds, each designed to test different aspects of the participants’ general knowledge and quick thinking. The first round, a Warmup, allowed the participants to settle into the quiz without the pressure of a buzzer. This was followed by the Who am I? round, where teams had to identify personalities based on a series of clues. This round introduced the buzzer, adding an element of speed and strategy, as incorrect answers incurred negative marking.
In the third round, Audio-Visual, teams answered questions based on visual and auditory prompts. This buzzer round tested their ability to connect sights and sounds with the correct answers swiftly. The final Rapid Fire round challenged the teams to answer as many questions as possible within a time limit, with negative marking for incorrect answers.
The competition was intense, with all teams showing commendable knowledge and teamwork. After tallying the points from all rounds, Team A secured the first position, showcasing their quick reflexes and in-depth understanding. Team B followed closely behind, while Team C rounded off the top three. Congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding efforts and sportsmanship!
